About Me

My name is Anna (well... not really. We'll get into that in a second!) I create realistic pencil portraits and I like to sprinkle a bit of magic into my art digitally, which lets my creativity run wild. I have been drawing since I was a little girl. My grandmother was my first teacher and supporter. She was an artist herself and I guess she saw something in me!

It wasn't until my early twenties that I truly fell in love with drawing. I knew I had a lot to learn and improve upon, but with practice, I was able to sharpen my skills and gain the confidence to share my work with the world. I started to share my art online. I gained a following of 30k+ followers on social media and began taking commissions. I loved connecting with people, and sending drawings all over the world!

As an introvert who cherishes her privacy, I found it very difficult to share my life and my art with strangers, friends, family, acquaintances, etc, while I was using my real name and my face. I wasn't opening up because of it, and I got stuck. It sucked all the joy out of drawing. So, I started drawing for myself, without any pressure to share it with anyone.

I am now at a point where I am ready to start sharing my art again. However, I am doing it differently this time. I am using a pseudonym and I will not be showing my face. This is a way for me to share my art without feeling exposed. It's a bit of an experiment to see if I can thrive if I hide behind a new identity, without the eyes of all the people I know on me.

It's hard and it's scary, but I am excited to see where this journey takes me! Thank you for your support, it means the world to me!
